More Information on IronHead Racing

Ironhead racing is a triathlon club that is run as a non-profit organisation, where we aim to keep membership fees very low. Although the core membership base is around London, there are people racing under the IronHead name from places all around the UK, Sussex and Cambridge to name a few.

The philosophy is simple, a group of people who enjoy triathlon. Ironhead Racing has some very talented athletes who you will read about on our news section and in the results section of the triathlon press. Although we’re very proud to have these people racing under the IronHead banner, there are also many more age-group triathletes in the club who have no chance in making a podium slot. The main competition for these athletes is to race, finish and beat their personal best times!

What you will find, no matter what your level of experience in triathlon is, whether you’re looking to get into the sport for the first time, or an accomplished racer, there aren’t any egos in the club and the athletes who is looking to do a ‘double ironman’ is as happy to enthusiastically chat to the athlete looking to do their very first sprint tri as both athletes attitudes and philosophies are the same- a passion for triathlon and doing the best they can!
